Surrounded by mastic, pine and juniper trees, Stella Maris was established over 50 years ago by the Jesuits, who saw this location as being the ideal place for peace and meditation. .

Travel information
By Car:
- Stella Maris is less than three quarters of an hour's drive from Cagliari's port and airport.
- Drive along provincial road 17; a panoramic route which takes you
along the coast.
- Continue on this road until you come to the turn off for Campulongu.
- Another kilometre or so later and you will see the signs for the hotel.
- Turning right, a short drive along an off-road track takes you directly
to the front of the hotel.
