Quick description

Located right on the Santa Margarita beach, with its 8 km of fine golden sand and shallow waters, this large 3-star Montecarlo has direct access to the seafront promenade. On the border of the Roses Bay, on the Northern part of the Costa Brava, the Montecarlo offers a great location, comfortable accommodation and a wide selection of facilities and services, including an outdoor swimming pool which is covered and heated in winter. With calm shallow waters, the beach, like the Montecarlo itself, is ideal for children and for families. The Montecarlo Montecarlo is a great base for a relaxing seaside holiday.

The Montecarlo has a nice covered and heated pool in the winter, and uncovered in the summer. On the first floor of the hotel, you can find the bar with live music and live entertainment, Happy Hour with drinks half price every week, as well as a big terrasse to enjoy a drink and the sun. In these premises you will also find a pool table, a 512 Mb DSL internet connection and a TV room. The Montecarlo also has a Wifi area with Telefonica in the bar. There is also free access to bicycles for the clients of the hotel.

Area information

What to see in Rosas? The Citadel: It was built in 1543, in which center the city used to be held until the 19th century. It also has its Santa Maria de Rosas church, one of the first exponents of the Roman art in the peninsula. La Trinitat Castle: It was built in 1544 under the reign of the emperor Carlos I. The parish church of Santa Maria: It can be found at the church square. The building was consecrated in 1796 and still holds the absis, the cross-bearer and the cupula. The rest of the hall is neo-classical dating from 1853 and by the arquitect Marti Sureda. It is now renovated. The Puig Rom Mountain Vista Point: from which you can have a fabulous panoramic view of the Rosas bay as well as the plains of the region Alt Emporda. The Harbor: Located below the Puig Rom Mountain, holds both a leisure harbor and the fishing port. The Creu d'en Corbatella Dolmen: It is the biggest one in Catalunia, and was put up by the neolitic men in the year 3000 a.c. It was recognized historic monument in March 1964, holds a covered gallery of 5.20m long, 2.45m wide and 2.14m high. Other sites to visit: The Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona, one of Gaudi's famous pieces of work, a must see, less than two hours from Rosas. The Dali Museum: in Figueras, 17km from Rosas.

The is located in Rosas, actually on the beach in Santa Margarita, 17km from Figueras and very close to the big European cities.

To get to our hotel, you have to take the Exit 3 if you're coming from France or the Exit 4 if you're coming from Barcelona, right after you must take the National II until you hit the crossroads to Rosas on the road C260, which you will follow for 17 kilometers.
Once you have reached Rosas, follow the Santa Margarita direction, our is located right on the beach, a little before the end where the canal is.
