This is a majestic landscape of mountains, beaches, lakes and rivers. It is the ideal location for touring, walking, mountain climbing, sight-seeing and fishing and is close to Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park. The Maol Reidh Hotel is renowned for its excellent food and warm hospitality. Newly built in 2003, the hotel's beautifully decorated bedrooms are modern and spacious with free Wi-Fi internet access.

10 minutes drive from the nearest white sandy beach, Kylemore Abbey and Connemara National Park, this is an ideal location for exploring the unspoilt paradise of Connemara. This area is one of Europe's last great unspoilt areas of natural beauty. Pristine clear beaches, wild Atlantic waters, majestic mountains, lakes, rivers and peat bogs are waiting to be found. Climb the Diamond Mountain in Connemara National Park. Via the pathway and steps to the top, the views of Twelve Pins are truly amazing. The village of Tullycross is one of Ireland's most picturesque villages, and the thatched cottages in the village add a special atmosphere.

From major ports and airports in Southern Ireland: Make your way to Galway city. Take the N59 west from Galway towards Clifden, through Moycullen, Oughterard and Maam Cross. At Recess turn right onto the R344 through the Inagh Valley. At Kylemore turn left onto N59 towards Letterfrack via Kylemore Abbey. At Letterfrack turn right towards Tullycross. When you reach Tullycross village (approximately 4 kilometres), pass the church on your right and we are on your left in this village, opposite the thatched cottages. From North of Ireland via Sligo: Make your way from Sligo through Castlebar to Westport, at Westport take the N59 to Leenane, at Leenane turn right towards Letterfrack staying on N59. Approximately 12 kilometres to Letterfrack via Killary Fjord and Kylemore Abbey, at Letterfrack turn right towards Tullycross. When you reach Tullycross village (approx 4 kilometres), pass the church on your right and we are on your left in this village, opposite the thatched cottages.
