Nestled in the lush, tea-covered hills of Fuyang Village in Hangzhou, this resort sets a unique standard for world-class business and family-oriented luxury. Along the banks of the Fuchun River, this getaway is a hidden gem within the heart of Fuchun’s celebrated mountain range.
Fuchun’s location was the inspiration for celebrated Yuan Dynasty painter Wang Gongwang centuries ago. Wang spent 10 years living along the picturesque Fuchun River painting his phenomenal work, “Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains”. Now, at the exact location depicted in the scroll, today’s Fuchun Resort has come to life.
The surroundings were nature’s idea, but creating a blissful resort here was Fuchun’s. And although it is said that nature’s perfection cannot be improved upon, somehow Fuchun Resort has managed to with its combination of modern and traditional design elements. An atmosphere of casual elegance prevails, with interiors that are understated and tasteful, yet as comfortable as a top-calibre establishment should be. This is the creative vision of Jean-Michel Gathy (Denniston International), appointed designer of the Aman Resorts Group.
