We provide a unique opportunity for dog owners to spend an exciting holiday with their favourite pet in an environment that offers all the necessary facilities for dogs, as well as for their masters and mistresses. Additionally, you can participate in special classes for dog training. Whether or not you bring along a dog, you can take advantage of the cycling routes, hiking paths and many beautiful scenic spots in our immediate vicinity.
Situated in the beautiful village of Leykaul, in between Monschau (Germany) and Bütgenbach (Belgium), our Douanehof eifelberg offers a stylish interior with comfortable rooms.

The Douanehof eifelberg boasts a nice terrace and a garden with a beautiful view. You can make use of the bicycle shed and there is even an enclosed toilet for dogs.
There are obedience trainings for dogs and their masters, during which we work with a reward system.

All rooms have box spring beds. For dogs all facilities are provided, such as a dog bed with a quilt, 2 cages, cushions, water bowls and food bowls.
There is one bed available per room, which can be used as an extra bed for a person or a dog.

Savour homemade dishes in our comfortably decorated restaurant and enjoy your favourite drink in our salon or on the terrace, where you can admire the view. In the mornings you can start up your day in our breakfast room.
The restaurant only opens for reservations. Parties for groups can be arranged. During the weekend you can enjoy your afternoon tea from 14:00. To ensure high quality cuisine there is no à la carte menu, but you can enjoy regional specialties and excellent wines from the wine tavern Weingut Klein-Oster. The host and hostess will personally serve your dinner and make sure that you and your dog(s) have an unforgettable stay.

From the Douanehof eifelberg you can hike and cycle through the forests and across vast plains in complete peace and quiet, without any cars around. Great places to visit are the Hoge Venen or the nature reserve Eifel.
You can also venture out to Germany (Monschau and Rursee), which you can reach in only a matter of minutes. Of course, you can also visit Belgian places in the vicinity, such as Bütgenbach or Sourbrodt.
In the winter this place is ideal for skiing or simply for having some winter fun. Come and relax and enjoy this beautiful area.
