De Oude Taveerne in Amsterdam, is situated on the lake IJsselmeer in an old fisherman's house build in 1740. Close by Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam Arena, Ajax Football Club, Central Station and City Center Amsterdam. About 4km away from the highway A-10, exit S115. There are 16 luxury rooms and 2, family rooms, one with a special child bunk-bed. The Hotel De Oude Taveerne also offers 2 rooms with connecting doors.
The rooms are nicely decorated. The Hotel De Oude Taveerne has a restaurant with sea-view, bar, terrace and a meeting-room.

There are 6 luxury rooms, 3 rooms got a beautiful sea-view. Our romantic rooms take you back in the ancient time with the comfort of today.
The luxury annex is new since summer 2008. It features 9 Double Rooms Deluxe and 1 Superior Room with French doors on the private terrace and view on water and garden.

Food & beverage
Our restaurant has splendid murals. They exhale the environment of former days. We have a Dutch-French menu with the specialty:

· Wild meat specialties (season)
We can offer cold/warm buffets up to 125 persons. We also organize parties/receptions up to 150 persons!
Area information
You will find a vast nature reserve near the Hotel De Oude Taveerne and 2 small beaches. There are also many beautiful hiking trails and cycling paths in the surroundings.
You will certainly experience the attraction of the beautiful lake of IJsselmeer.

By Car:
From junction S115 of the A10 (about 4 km):
- Immediately after the Zeeburgertunnel turn off towards Durgerdam (S115).
- Follow the signs for Durgerdam - you will soon see De Oude Taveerne on your left-hand side.
From junction S114 of the A10:
- Follow the signs to Schellingwoude/Durgerdam.
- Once you reach Durgerdam you will find De Oude Taveerne on your left-hand side.
The bus stop is in front of the hotel.
